Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra lights up Reasi District with progress, celebration

REASI, Dec 9: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) marked a significant milestone as it expanded its reach, encompassing six additional Panchayats in the Blocks of Reasi district.
The vibrant and celebratory event illuminated the spirit of progress through colorful cultural displays and the sharing of inspirational success stories from beneficiaries, farmers, and entrepreneurs. The event was elevated by an effective Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign, where a specialized van traversed through nine more Panchayats, Dharti, treen Mayari, Tuli Lower A, Tuli Lower B, Kanthan, Kanthan A, Danga Kote, Tote.
The campaign was instrumental in enlightening the local community about centrally sponsored schemes designed to promote welfare, employment, insurance, social security, and income generation.
A spectrum of activities awaited visitors at the event venues, with Audio-Video sessions facilitated through IEC Vans equipped with LEDs, creating an engaging platform for disseminating crucial information. Officers and officials from diverse departments passionately conducted IEC activities in every Panchayat in the block, exemplifying their dedication to reaching every segment of the population.
The participation of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) and field functionaries from stakeholder departments was noteworthy, as they actively engaged with attendees, fostering awareness about government schemes and their myriad benefits. Various department stalls were set up, showcasing the significance of welfare initiatives, employment opportunities, insurance provisions, social security measures, and income generation programs. This interactive environment facilitated meaningful discussions and engagements among participants.
The Viksit Bharat Yatra programs witnessed the enthusiastic involvement of block officers, officials from line departments, PRIs, students, and local residents. Their collective commitment underscored the community’s unwavering dedication to embracing and supporting the ongoing development initiatives in the region.
