RAMNAGAR, Dec 13: In a bid to harness the potential and ideas of the youth towards shaping a developed India by 2047, Government Degree College, Ramnagar, organized an awareness program on Viksit Bharat@2047, Voice of India. The initiative was held under the patronage of Dr. Bhavnaish Chand Anthal, the College Principal, who addressed the gathering, enlightening them about the significance of Viksit Bharat@2047 and the pivotal role that the youth can play in this transformative journey.
Dr. Om Prakash, Head of the Department of Sanskrit, shared crucial information about Viksit Bharat@2047, emphasizing its availability on the government portal. He highlighted that students can actively contribute their suggestions for the nation's development through this platform, with the added incentive of attractive cash prizes for the winners.
Following this, Dr. Divya Puri, Head of the Department of Psychology, engaged with the students in a meaningful discussion on the "Futuristic Perspective of Indian Youth." Dr. Puri encouraged students to share their thoughts and ideas on various aspects of societal progress, economic growth, environmental sustainability, and good governance. The students enthusiastically participated in the discussion, presenting their valuable suggestions.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Om Prakash, expressing gratitude to all participants for their active involvement. To further enhance the camaraderie, light refreshments were provided to the students. The organizing members, Dr. Om Prakash and Dr. Divya Puri, were lauded for their efforts in facilitating an engaging and thought-provoking session that aimed to ignite the passion and creativity of the youth towards building a developed India by 2047.
