SSP Doda holds crime and security review meeting in PCR Doda

DODA, Dec 13: Abdul Qayoom-JKPS, SSP Doda, held a Crime and Security review meeting in PCR Doda which was attended by all supervisory officers/SHOs of the District.
A threadbare discussion was held with supervisory officers/SHOs on the cases registered during the current year as well as backlog cases and they were directed to ensure expeditious disposal of the under investigation cases and ensure quality investigation so that targets assigned by the senior functionaries could be achieved to the desired mark at the end of the year-2023. The officer were also directed to make special efforts and ensure disposal of inquest proceedings, constitution of special teams at PS level for the arrest of absconders besides tracing of missing persons and review of history sheeters. In NDPS cases ,it was stressed upon the officers to ascertain the "forward and backward" links so that the nexus of this black trade could be rooted out from the District.
The officers were directed to keep the activities of anti-social elements, trouble creators, rumor mongers, suspects under close surveillance and carry out the exercises of area domination/surveillance in coordination with Army/CAPF so that no undesired element may succeed to create any disturbance and disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the District. The officers were also directed to be fully geared up and they were urged upon to organize joint trainings on regular basis to deal any kind of situation on law and order front. Against traffic violations, they were stressed upon to take stringent action if any traffic violation is noticed in their AOR so that road mishaps may not happened. They were also directed to organize road safety awareness programmes and counseling sessions of drivers/passengers throughout the District.
Further directions regarding, installing of CCTV Cameras under operation Third EYE, effective surveillance on Child care centres under operation PATHSHALLA, record building, intensifying of patrolling, area domination, alerting Nakas, disposal of online grievances, complaints, holding of public meetings regularly by supervisory officers/SHOs to address the issues of general public were also given to supervisory officers/SHOs in the meeting.
On this occasion, Shakeel Rehman, ASP Hqrs Doda, Vinod Kumar Addl. SP Bhaderwah, Vaseem Mehmood SDPO Bhaderwah, Adil Hussain SDPO Gandoh, all SHOs were present in the meeting
