Jammu, Dec 13: One day awareness programme was held at Cybernetics Secondary School Arjun Vihar Kunjwani, Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the supervision of Dy.SP. Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. The awareness programme was attended by 150 students of the School. Awareness about the basic knowledge of rescue techniques during the disaster were given by the Civil Defence expert to the students. During the programme, demonstration was also presented by the Civil Defence team. The main objective of the awareness program was to inform the students about precautionary measures during natural or man-made disaster. On the occasion Dy.SP. Anita Pawar, delivered a lecture on the topics of Disaster Management and highlighted the role and importance of Civil Defence organization. She advised students to stay away from Junk Food and eat healthy. She also talk about the harms of drug addiction. Amardeep Sharma, Chairman of the School appreciated the role of Civil Defence organization. Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden CD, Jammu, R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief warden CD Jammu, Sandeep Bhat Sector Warden CD Jammu, Pooja Gupta, Principal of the School and other staff of the Secondary School was also present on the occasion. |
