| GDC RS Pura students visit Suchetgarh International Border | | |  Early Times Report
RS PURA, Dec 14: Students from Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College R.S. Pura, along with faculty members, visited the Suchetgarh International Border on December 13th, 2023. This field trip, organized in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police and Border Security Force (BSF), aimed to provide students with a firsthand experience of border management.
Accompanied by Prof. Neelam Kumari (Club Convener), 60 students embarked on this educational journey. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rajni Bhagat flagged off the bus, emphasizing the importance of such activities in promoting all-round student development.
Upon arrival, BSF personnel warmly welcomed the group and offered a detailed explanation of border management practices. Students received valuable insights into important points of control, weapons, and daily operations undertaken by the BSF.
The visit's primary objective was to enable students to witness firsthand the dedication and efforts of security agencies, particularly the BSF, in safeguarding the border. Additionally, such experiences broaden students' perspectives, fostering nationalism, patriotism, and social harmony.
Prof. Kumari expressed sincere gratitude to all J&K Police and BSF officials for facilitating this invaluable learning opportunity for the college students. |
