Celebrating Vijay Diwas with awareness in Bhalwal

JAMMU, Dec 15: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS), in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, and the Social Welfare Department of J&K, presented a special musical play titled "Uncha Rahe Trianga" at S. R. P. Model High School, Bhalwal, Jammu, to celebrate Vijay Diwas 2023.
Patriotic Performance: The play, written, produced, and directed by Dr. M.L. Dogra, highlighted India's victory in the 1971 war and paid tribute to the brave soldiers who fought in the Kargil War of 1999.
Student Participation: Over 250 students and teachers took the drug abuse pledge administered by Miss Chahat Chadha, and received certificates from the Ministry of Social Justice.
Engaging Songs and Dances: BLSKS artists and students presented patriotic songs and dances, keeping the audience captivated.
Guest of Honors: The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Suresh Chander Sharma, Principal of the host school, while Mrs. Sunita Kumari (Vice Principal) and Mukesh Singh (media person) were among the guests of honor.
Vijay Diwas: The play served as a reminder of India's military achievements and the sacrifices made by its soldiers.
Drug Awareness: The program emphasized the importance of combating drug abuse, particularly among the younger generation.
Cultural Promotion: BLSKS aims to promote Indian culture and awareness through its musical plays, presenting over 200 such programs annually.
Overall, the "Uncha Rahe Trianga" musical play was a successful event that combined patriotism, awareness, and cultural expression. It provided a platform to celebrate Vijay Diwas, raise awareness about drug abuse, and showcase the talent of BLSKS artists and students.
The program was recorded and uploaded online for wider reach.
The play featured original songs written by Dr. Dogra and music composed by Raju Bajgal.
Master Deepak Kumar delivered the vote of thanks at the program's conclusion.
