| DC Reasi discusses arrangements for R- Day celebration | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, Dec 18: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan today reviewed arrangements for the upcoming Republic Day festivities. ADC Abdul Star provided a detailed insight into security, seating, water supply, traffic management, electricity, PA system, fire safety, cultural performances, and cleanliness plans.
DDC asked the Floriculture department to adorn the venue with vibrant flowers and directed the Chief Education Officer to organise the cultural program.
The Deputy Commissioner outlined specific protocols for the flag hoisting ceremony, while a committee was framed for finalising Cultural items and the number of contingents for the main event. The EO Municipal Committee was entrusted with cleanliness in and around the venue and in the town as well and Tri colour illuminating key areas viz Main Market , prominent Chowki, Bhim Ghar fort along with their official Building. ARTO and DTI were entrusted with the responsibility of Traffic management, while Principal Degree college and Chief Education officer were directed to ensure participation of all institutions.
DDC underscored the significance of participation of Family of martyrs, prominent citizens children and locals and urging Sub Divisions Magistrates to enthusiastically replicate the same in their respective sub divisions.
The District Information Officer (DIO) was assigned responsibilities for media coverage and PA system management.
