Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 19: In a special function held in Lachipura, Kathua, National Conference Additional General Secretary and Former Minister, Mr. Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, welcomed S Pardeep Singh Sarpanch into the party fold, emphasizing the party's commitment to inclusive growth, development, and progress across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir. Sadhotra termed the National Conference as the natural destination for public-spirited activists, citing its pro-people agenda, secular credentials, and dedication to maintaining the singular identity of the region. Addressing the gathering, Sadhotra expressed concern over divisive forces, particularly pointing to the BJP, stating that people are disheartened with the politics of hate and emphasizing the need to strengthen bonds of amity and brotherhood in the pluralistic region of Jammu and Kashmir. Highlighting the recent influx of prominent individuals into the party, including Sarpanch Pardeep Singh, Sadhotra asserted that the National Conference provides a unique atmosphere of inclusiveness, togetherness, and camaraderie. He underlined the party's track record in maintaining peace and tranquility during adverse situations and reiterated its commitment to regional unity and communal harmony. Sadhotra expressed concern over the challenges faced by people in remote areas, citing issues such as inflation, unemployment, drinking water and power scarcity, and despondency among daily-rated workers. He called for prompt attention to these problems to prevent further alienation of the masses.
