UDHAMPUR, Dec 20: Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur, took a significant step towards fostering the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 by organizing a Pledge Taking Ceremony today. The event, held under the theme "Voice of Youth," witnessed active participation from the college's Principal, dedicated staff, and enthusiastic students.
Under the able guidance of the esteemed Principal, Prof. Hans Raj, the ceremony aimed to align with the vision set forth by the honorable Prime Minister. Prof. Hans Raj emphasized the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future of the nation, echoing the Prime Minister's call to actively involve the younger generation in the formulation of National Plans. He encouraged students to contribute their ideas and perspectives on the dedicated portal: mygov.in/viksitbharat2047.
The ceremony, organized by Dr. Sunil Tanoch, Assistant Professor in Sociology, served as a platform for the college community to pledge their commitment to the goals of Viksit Bharat @2047. Dr. Tanoch highlighted the potential impact of the youth in driving the development and progress of the nation. The program aimed to empower students to actively engage in the nation-building process.
Among the dignitaries present were Dr. Akhter Hussain, Dr. Mahima Bhagat, Dr. Zahoor Mir, Pardeep Kumar, Swati Sharma and Dr. Muntazir Ahmed Bhat. Their presence added depth and significance to the ceremony, emphasizing the collective responsibility of educators and students in realizing the aspirations of Viksit Bharat @2047.
The Pledge Taking Ceremony at Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur, reflects a commitment to harness the potential of the youth in creating a developed and prosperous India by the year 2047.
