GGM Science College excels at Yuvtarang 2023

JAMMU, Dec 20: In a remarkable display of literary and artistic prowess, G.G.M Science College emerged triumphant at Yuvtarang 2023, a recently concluded literary and cultural contest. Under the patronage of the esteemed Principal Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta and with Dr. Vandana Khajuria as the Convener of the Cultural Committee, the college secured an impressive eighteen positions across various categories.
Mohd Zaigham Khan from G.G.M Science College was awarded the prestigious overall best performance in Creative & Fine Arts, showcasing exceptional talent and creativity. The college, under the leadership of Prof. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, provided a much-needed platform for students to display their literary, creative, and innovative skills.
Students participated enthusiastically in different events, contributing to the college's success. G.G.M Science College secured nine positions in Literary and Fine Arts, covering a wide range of activities such as debate, elocution, quiz, photography, rangoli, collage, poster making, mehendi, painting, cartooning, clay modeling, and installation. Additionally, the college clinched nine positions in the music, theatre, and dance category, including mimicry, mime, skit, western vocal, classical solo, classical instrument, Indian group song, group dance, and light vocal solo.
Dr. Shalini Sharma served as the Convener in the Literary and Fine Arts events, while Dr. Anshu Sawhney took charge as the Convener in the music, theatre, and dance events. The seamless coordination of the entire event was ensured by Dr. Balwinder Kour, Dr. Mona Sethi, Dr. Lakhwinder Singh, Dr. Arjun Rathore, Prof. Sunita Kumari, Prof. Asha Sharma, Dr. Arti Heer, Prof. Sanjay, Prof. Amit, Prof. Varun Arya, Prof. Ankush, and other faculty members.
G.G.M Science College's exceptional performance at Yuvtarang 2023 highlights its commitment to fostering a vibrant cultural and artistic atmosphere. The college expresses gratitude to all participants, organizers, and faculty members who contributed to this remarkable achievement.
