| ADC flags off Red Cross contingent to Kurukshetra | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 23: District Red Cross Society today flagged off a contingent of 14 members to represent J&K in the Inter-State Junior Red Cross Training Camp at Gita Gyan Sansthanam, Brahma Sarovar, Kurukshetra. The Camp is being held from 24th to 30th December, 2023. The contingent consists of 6 girls and boys each, as well as one female and one male counsellor. Additional Deputy Commissioner and Executive Secretary of District Red Cross Society, Ansuya Jamwal, sent off the contingent from DBN Amarvilla School. She encouraged the students to participate fully and take away valuable lessons and experiences from the tour. She also reminded them of the Red Cross Society’s spirit of selfless service to humanity.
The motto of the camp is to provide the children and their leaders an opportunity to inculcate the spirit of selfless service, the objectives of Red Cross & Junior Red Cross amongst the students. |
