Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 24: In a commendable display of vigilance, local law enforcement conducted routine patrolling near Maralian Miran Sahib, particularly around Marallian Pulley. During the patrol, two women acting suspiciously were apprehended. Upon inquiry, they identified themselves as Razia Begum, wife of Altaf Hussain, and Khalida Begum, wife of Mohammad Sadiq, both current residents of Maralian. A subsequent search revealed that Khalida Begum was in possession of approximately 9.74 grams of a substance resembling heroin (Chitta). Shockingly, the duo was allegedly attempting to sell this illicit substance to passersby. In addition to the narcotics, the police confiscated loose currency amounting to Rs 1970/-, a gas lighter, aluminum foil, and a purse from their possession. In response to this incident, a case FIR No.172/2023 has been registered under sections 8/21/22/29/62 of the NDPS Act. The investigation has been promptly initiated to delve into the details surrounding the case.
