| Seminar on Viksit Bharat@2047 organized by GDC Ramgarh | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 26: Government Degree College, Ramgarh organized a seminar on Ideas for the Vision: Viksit Bharat @2047. The event was organised under the supervision and able guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the College who recapitulated honourable Prime Minister's vision to actively involve the youth of the country in making India a developed nation by 2047 by performing the duties of a citizen.
The activity started with the introductory lecture on the relevance of holding brain storming sessions for ideas that are important for Viksit Bharat @2047. The interactive session was conducted by Dr. Paramjeet Kour by Department of Education.
The organizing committee, comprising of Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Dr. Sonabar and Prof. Brham dutt, motivated the students to think out of the Box and offer different perspectives regarding the Vision Viksit Bharat @2047. The students who bagged prizes are as follows: Bhoomika stood at the 3rd position, Gurneet Kour & Komal shared the 2nd position and Suani secured the 1st position in this seminar.
The aim of the activity was to foster awareness regarding the programme Viksit Bharat @2047, the vision to make India a developed nation by 2047 i.e. 100th year of Independence. The students expressed their views on various aspects of development including economic growth, social progress, education, environmental sustainability and good governance. They also shared their visions about hometown developments.
