Jammu, Dec 26: In a significant initiative, the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh will be hosting "Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0," an awareness and outreach program, simultaneously at three different venues. The program is scheduled to take place at the Conference Hall, IRCON, Banihal, Ramban; SIDCO, Pulwama; and EPF office, ALC Complex, Skampari, Leh, on December 27, 2023. "Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0" is a collaborative effort with the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) and aims to educate employers and employees about social security provisions. The program will cover themes such as Filing Grievance & Fraud Prevention, Digital Services (UMANG, Digi Locker), awareness, fraud prevention, and employee rights concerning employers. The P. F. Commissioner, Shri Rizwan Uddin, emphasized the importance of active participation from subscribers, pensioners, establishments, employees' representatives, and industrial chambers in the program. The initiative seeks to ensure broad-based participation, awareness, grievance redressal, and information exchange closer to EPFO stakeholders. The program will be conducted for one hour from 10:00 AM onwards at each venue. District Nodal Officers, including Shri Devinder Singh for Ramban, Shri Lateef Ahmad Zargar for Pulwama, and Shri Sandeep Kumar for Leh, will address the programs in their respective districts. The program will address various issues, including handholding support, hearing suggestions, inputs, and grievances from stakeholders, and discussing problems faced by organizations in implementing the EPF & MP Act, 1952. Key topics such as enrollment of members, UAN activation, bank & Aadhaar seeding, online claim filing, filing of e-nominations, e-sign, and filing ECR will be covered. Additionally, services and benefits of "Social Security" under the Employees' Pension Scheme, 1995, and enhanced quantum of Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance Schemes, 1976, will be highlighted. EPFO, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh welcome valuable suggestions and feedback during the "Nidhi Aapke Nikat" program, reinforcing their commitment to the welfare and empowerment of the workforce in the region. |
