Early Times Report MARH, Dec 27: Government Degree College (GDC), Marh, recently organized the second phase of the Bharat Scout and Guide Nipun Programme with great enthusiasm. The event, conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Rakesh Kumar Koul, aimed at enhancing the skills and character of young individuals through practical training sessions. The program commenced with a warm welcome speech by Principal Prof. Dr. R.K. Koul, expressing gratitude for the pivotal role played by the organization in shaping the personalities of youth. He hoped that the participants would continue to contribute devotedly to social activities for the betterment of society. Practical sessions were a key component of the program, where two groups underwent training in essential skills such as knot-tying with ropes, pitching tents, and more. Participants were provided with refreshments during these hands-on sessions, enhancing the overall learning experience. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including R.P. Kotwal (STC-S), Manjeet Kour (JSTC-G), K.L. Sharma (HQs Commissioner), and Haroon Malik. Their presence added significance to the program, and their words resonated profoundly with the youthful Rangers and Rovers, emphasizing the core ideals and concepts upheld by the Bharat Scout and Guide movement.
