Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 27: The Indian Red Cross Society, J&K-UT today organized a comprehensive Medical checkup camp and First-Aid Awareness under the guidance of Rohit Khajuria, General Secretary, IRCS J&K-UT for the employees of Welcomehotel by ITC Hotels, Katra demonstrating their commitment to promoting health and well-being in the community. The Medical Camp, was aimed at providing a range of health services to the employees, ensuring early detection of potential health issues and promoting a proactive approach to healthcare. The event took place at their hotel premises and a team of qualified medical professionals from IRCS, J&K including Dr. Aasia Noor, Medical Officer, Kanchan Devi, Sup. Pharmacist, Mushtaq Ahmed, Sup. Lab Technician, Kuldeep Bhat, Sr. Ophthalmologist Technician were present to conduct thorough health examinations. The employees of Welcomehotel by ITC Katra availed themselves of a variety of medical services, including general health checkups, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar tests, blood grouping, eye check-up, HB and other relevant diagnostic assessments. The medical team also offered valuable advice on preventive measures and healthy lifestyle practices to maintain overall well-being. Besides that, a lecture on First-Aid awareness was also delivered by the team which included CPR, Food Poisoning, Choking etc. The camp was supervised by Vironica Marwah, Field Officer, IRCS, J&K-UT. |
