Amateur Karate Do Association conducts referee, judge, coach exams | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 28: Jammu witnessed a significant event as the Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir organized a Referee, Judge, and Coach exam, bringing together karatekas from across the region. The participants successfully completed the seminar, practical sessions, and qualified for KIO (NF) and J&K UT level Referee, Judge, and Coach licenses. The seminar was skillfully conducted by Ritika Rawat, a Judge B AKF from Delhi, providing valuable insights into the intricacies of karate officiating. Several individuals showcased their dedication and proficiency, earning recognition for their achievements. Notable participants, including Priya Sharma, Rajan Jamwal (Jammu), Raja Shabahat (Pulwama), Anil Kumar (Reasi), Tajamu Khan (Budgam), Ajaz Ahmed Bhat (Kupwara), Rohit Ramotra, Vansh Samyal, Meenakshi Raina, Indu Devi, Munish Saini (Udhampur), qualified for (NF) KIO (Karate India Organization). This qualification allows them to serve as referees and judges at all national level championships. Another group of accomplished individuals, including Shivarpit, Neeraj Manhas, Vijender Jamwal, Asif Ameen Bhat, Aeeba Shafi, Abid Hassan, Madiha Sabzar, qualified for the J&K UT level. This certification enables them to officiate as referees and judges at all UT level championships. Shihan Ambedkar Gupta, EC member KIO and Chairman OC KIO, extended heartfelt congratulations to all the qualifiers. Sanjay Kumar Tutoo expressed gratitude to Karate NF KIO for their support and shared his joy at the prospect of seeing representatives from Jammu and Kashmir officiating at national-level competitions in the future.
