Indian youth 'Second to None' require right platform to shine: Kavinder | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 28: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today extolled the talent and potential of Indian youth, declaring them "second to none" and only needing the right platform to shine. He was speaking while honouring Ranjit Kumar, a skilled sculptor whose recent works depicting Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur, and Swami Vivekananda have become prominent landmarks in Jammu. Kavinder lauded Ranjit Kumar's meticulous artistry, praising the statues installed at key intersections throughout the city. Pertinent to mention here that the Atal Bihari Vajpayee's statue stands tall near the Radio Station Chowk, the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur statue graces Bhagwati Nagar Chowk, and soon, a majestic Swami Vivekananda statue will adorn Vivek Ananta Hospital in Amphalla. "Our youth possess immense talent," Kavinder asserted, "but what they truly need is a platform to nurture and showcase their skills." He expressed his firm belief that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recently launched PM Vishwakarma Skill Development Scheme, aimed at empowering and upskilling India's workforce, aligns perfectly with this vision. Sharing details about the PM Vishwakarma scheme, the senior BJP leader highlighted its focus on providing skill training across diverse sectors, financial assistance to support trainees, and entrepreneurship mentorship for aspiring young business owners. He envisioned the scheme as a catalyst for unlocking the immense potential of India's youth and shaping the nation's future. |
