Kishtwar, Dec 29: Muslim community LDED BY Adv Raashid Zaffer Doolwan residing in Kishtwar, have brought attention of a critical issue regarding the lack of space for new graves at the existing Qabristan (graveyard) in Kishtwar.
They urged intervention in identifying and sanctioning a suitable waqf land for a new Qabristan.
The Upon visiting the existing Qabristan, it has become evident that the limited area has resulted in an acute shortage of space for new graves , such situation significantly impacts our ability to respectfully bury our loved ones in accordance with Islamic customs, which holds paramount importance to us.
The rising population and the limited availability of land, it has become imperative to allocate an alternative area for the establishment of a new Qabristan.
The significance of these matters, we humbly request your immediate attention to identifying and sanctioning a suitable waqf land for the construction of a new Qabristan and Eid Gah as such an action would enable the Muslim community of Kishtwar to fulfill our religious duties and observe our traditions without disruption or inconvenience. |
