Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 2: S.J.M Gillani-IPS, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Armed J&K, demonstrated a commitment to recognizing and encouraging excellence within the force by issuing promotion orders for 316 police personnel. The promotion orders, effective immediately, include the elevation of 01 Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) to the rank of Sub Inspector, 88 Head Constables to the rank of Assistant Sub-inspectors, 107 Sg. Constables to the rank of Head Constables, and 120 Constables to the rank of Sg. Constables in J&K Armed Police. The decision to promote these deserving officers was made after a meticulous assessment by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), headed by S.J.M Gillani-IPS ADGP Armed J&K. The DPC, with Shri Tahir Sajad Bhat-SSP, Shri Virinder Singh-SSP, Jeetan Matoo-SP, and other distinguished members, thoroughly reviewed the eligibility and merit of each candidate. The assessments were conducted in accordance with the relevant promotion norms of the J&K Police organization.
