| Hit and Run case solved by Jammu Police | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 2: An information was received at PP Sainik Colony through reliable sources that truck bearing Registration No. K05A 6786 injured a person namely Ankit Kumar S/o Koushal Kumar R/o Ramnagar in the area under the jurisdiction of PP Sainik Colony. The locals took him to nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 185/2023 U/s 279/304 A IPC got registered at PS Channi Himmat and investigation started.
After this police teams of PP Sainik Colony led by I/C PP Sainik Colony did strenuous efforts and with the help of technical assistance and CCTV footages finally arrested the accused driver of truck namely Mohd Ishaq Rather S/o Mohd Akbar Rather R/o Mundah, Verinag, Qazigund J&K.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
