| 6 grams of heroin recovered by Nowabad police | | |

Jammu, Jan 14: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 6 grams of heroin from one accused person in the area under the jurisdiction of Police Nowabad.
A police team of POLICE station Nowabad led by S. H. O. Nowabad PP while on patrolling duty at Mandir Masjid Near Tawi Bridge rounded up a suspected person namely Liaquat S/O Qutab Deen R/O Dansal A/P Belicharana.
During personal search, 6 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 08/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act got registered in PS Nowabad and the accused person got arrested.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
