Udhampur, Jan 14: Police rescued 29 Bovines and seized 04 vehicles used for bovine smuggling. Team of Police Post Tikri foiled three bovine smuggling bids in which 25 bovines were rescued and 03 vehicles (truck, tata yodha and mahindra Bolero) bearing registration number JK21D-0182, JK14J-5106 and JK19A-1758 seized from Tikri nakapoint. 03 accused persons namely Irshad Ahmed S/O Mohd. Yaqoob R/O Anantnag, Mohd. Tariq S/O Mohd. Aslam R/O Jakhani, Udhampur and Muskan Ali S/O Sher Ali R/O Jandrah, Jammu got arrested.
In this regards, three cases FIRs No. 08/2024, 09/2024 and 12/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Rehambal.
Earlier, On 12-01-2024, One bovine smuggling case was foiled in which 04 bovines were rescued by the Police team of Police Post Roundomail from the cluthes of bovine smuggler namely Mohd. Ajaz S/O Shab Din R/O Gujjar Nagar, Jammu and vehicle bearing registration numberJK21F 3835 seized.
In this regard, a case FIR under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Udhampur. |
