Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, Jan 15: An interactive meeting aimed at engaging with retired police officers was successfully conducted today at District Police Lines, Udhampur. The session, presided over by SSP Udhampur Joginder Singh JKPS, brought together more than 50 retired police officers and officials from various ranks within the district. During the interactive session, retired SSsP Anil Magotra, Mahadeep Singh Jamwal, and Mohammad Aslam articulated collective demands on behalf of all retirees. SSP Udhampur, Joginder Singh, patiently listened to the concerns raised by the participants and assured them that their genuine issues would be promptly communicated to higher authorities for swift redressal. Addressing the gathering, SSP Udhampur emphasized the importance of cooperation between retired and in-service officers to enhance investigative skills within the force. He called for the retirees' support in providing valuable insights to current officers. In a positive gesture, the retirees expressed their willingness to offer their services to the department whenever required. SSP Udhampur reassured the retirees that the doors of the District police are always open for addressing their grievances. The meeting saw the presence of other notable figures, including Addl. SP Udhampur Sh. Anwaar Ul Haq-JKPS, DySP DAR DPL Udhampur Shahid Nahiem-JKPS, and various other officers and officials. As the interactive session concluded, the retired police personnel extended their gratitude to SSP Udhampur for the opportunity to voice their concerns and appreciated the commitment to addressing the issues affecting the retired police community.
