Police intercept truck carrying bovine animals cruelly: Animals rescued, driver arrested | | | Early Times Report JHAJAR KOTLI, Jan 15: In a significant operation, the police at PP Manwal intercepted a truck bearing registration number RJ05GB-2757 at the Naka Point Nadal. The vehicle, en route from Battal/Samba towards Udhampur/Kashmir side, was found loaded with 15 bovine animals in a cruel and merciless manner, with no valid DM permission. During the thorough checking, the police discovered the inhumane treatment of the bovine animals. Acting promptly, the police rescued the distressed animals, seized the vehicle, and arrested the driver responsible for the cruel transportation. The Police Post Manwal has taken cognizance of the incident, and a detailed report has been sent to the Police Station Jhajar Kotli for the filing of an FIR.
