Jammu, Jan 15: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Domana, PS Khour, PS R.S Pura and PP Chowki Choura acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 05 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
Two Dumpers bearing Registration Nos JK02CX-6285 and JK02CS-6285, by PS Domana
One tractor trolley without Registration No, by PS Khour
One Tipper bearing Registration No JK02BW-1582, by PS R.S Pura.
One Tipper bearing Registration No JK02AF-8473, by PP Chowki Choura.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Domana, SHO PS Khour, SHO PS R.S Pura and I/C PP Chowki Choura in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon'ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
