Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Jan 16: In a significant move, Dr. Sunil Gupta-IPS, the DIG of DKR Range, conducted a crucial security meeting at DPL Kishtwar. The meeting, attended by various high-ranking officers, including Brigadier Sameer K Palandey and CO CRPF Parma Shivan, focused on addressing security concerns in the district. SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal-JKPS, presented a comprehensive overview of the security scenario, discussing matters such as ongoing terrorist activities and strategic operations. The meeting emphasized heightened vigilance in preparation for upcoming events like the Ram Mandir inauguration and Republic Day celebrations. Implementation of advanced technologies, including an AI-based facial recognition system, was also deliberated. Post the security meeting, DIG DKR Range, along with SSP Kishtwar, led a Public Grievance Redressal Programme at PS Kishtwar. Dr. Sunil Gupta-IPS actively listened to public concerns and assured swift action, prioritizing resolutions with relevant departments.
