| 02 bovine smuggling attempts foiled, 18 bovines rescued | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Jan 16: Udhampur Police rescued 18 Bovines and seized 01 vehicle used for bovine smuggling.
Team of Police Station Majalta led by its SHO Insp Rakesh Kumar foiled one bovine smuggling bid in which 14 bovines were rescued and 01 vehicle (tanker) bearing registration number Jk03F 5957 seized from battal nakapoint. Accused person namely Mehraj Ud Din S/O Balbir Ahmed Reshi R/O Palapur, Pampore, Pulwama got arrested.
In this regard, A case FIR No. 06/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Majalta.
One more bovine smuggling case, in which 04 bovines were rescued by the Police team of Police Station Ramnagar led by its SHO Insp. Sohan Singh from the cluthes of bovine smuggler who fled away from the spot after leaving behind the bovines on road.
In this regard, case FIR No. 10/2024 U/S 188 IPC stands registered in Police Station Ramnagar. |
