JAMMU, Jan 19: In a joyous celebration today, students of Dewan Devi Hr. Sec. School came together to commemorate the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22, 2024. The school premises echoed with the spirit of devotion as students from various classes warmly welcomed Lord Rama and his entire Parivar.
The festivities began with a vibrant display of floral offerings to Lord Rama, symbolizing the students' reverence. The event unfolded with the Raj Tilak ceremony, accompanied by enchanting dance performances depicting key episodes from the epic Ramayana. Students showcased their talent through acts portraying characters such as Shabri, Laxman, Ahilya, and more.
Amidst the cultural expressions, the air resonated with the chanting of various Ram shlokas and mantras, adding a spiritual dimension to the celebration. The Chairman of the school, Subhash Chander Suri, took the opportunity to address the students.
