Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 19:

A special camp was organised by Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu on Friday and Labour cards were distributed among the laborers working in the market. On this occasion, former Deputy Mayor of Jammu Baldev Baloria was the chief guest who along with Federation President Deepak Gupta distributed these cards among the workers.
During the camp, Labour cards were distributed among about 150 laborers. Baldev Baloria said on this occasion that the Modi government has started many welfare schemes for the people working in the unorganized sector, out of which Labour Card is also an important scheme. Baloria said that while this provides social security to the beneficiary, the government also provides financial help to the beneficiaries.
Baloria said that if a Labour card holder dies in an accident or becomes disabled in an accident, his family is provided with financial help and pension from the government.
It has many other benefits, hence every eligible person should get his Labour card. On this occasion, Federation President Deepak Gupta said that during the Corona pandemic, the workers of Warehouse-Nehru Market had risked their lives so that the ration supply in the state was not affected. Only with the cooperation of the workers were the traders able to maintain the ration supply smoothly even during those difficult times.
So, the Federation, being a responsible organization, played its duty and got Labour cards made for the laborers working in its market. Gupta said that initially he was facing difficulty in making Labour cards of his laborers but Baldev Baloria helped him so that these cards could be made. Gupta said that laborers or employees whose Labour cards have not been made yet can contact the federation.
On this occasion, senior vice-president of the federation Munish Mahajan, general secretary Sham Langar, former president Rattan Lal Gupta, Rajesh Bhagotra, Raj Kumar Gupta, Kirti Gupta, Ashok Kumar and other.
