Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 20: Students from Humanity Public School Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana, have showcased their prowess and clinched victory at the National Matsogi-Do Championship held in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The remarkable achievement saw 21 students from HPS selected to represent J&K, competing against more than 1100 students from 16 different states. Under the guidance of their dedicated coach, Nikhil Jaral, the school's Matsogi-Do team displayed outstanding skill and determination. Humanity Public School students excelled in the National Matsogi-Do Championship at Kurukshetra, marking their presence in a highly competitive field. Out of the participants, 21 students from HPS earned the honor of representing J&K at the national level. The Matsogi-Do team, which brought home a substantial medal haul, was trained under the expert guidance of their coach, Nikhil Jaral. The team returned with a total of 14 medals, including five gold, five silver, and four bronze medals. Gold medalists: Aakriti (4th), Uday (7th), Krish (8th), Sourav (9th), and Ajay (11th). Silver medalists: Manvi (5th), Sayam (7th), Paras (7th), Rehan (8th), and Jatin (9th). Bronze medalists: Keshav (4th), Kartik (5th), Ikjot (7th), and Ajay (11th). The participants were honored in a special assembly by the school's Principal, Gaurav Charak, and Vice Principal Anku Charak. The school management recognized and praised the winners for their exceptional performance. Gaurav Charak, the school's Principal, highlighted the management's commitment to promoting physical education. Upgrades in sports infrastructure have been made to provide students with platforms to participate in various sports activities at different levels.
