Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 31: The two-day painting exhibition, 'Studio Oasis - Creativity Blooms Here,' hosted by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL) in collaboration with APS Damana, concluded with a vibrant valedictory ceremony and workshop at the Academy's K L Saigal Hall. The initiative aimed to provide a platform for promising young artists to hone their skills and express their artistic vision. The gracious presence of Bharat Singh Manhas (JKAS), Secretary JKAACL, as the special guest, and Principal APS Damana, Pushpinder Kaur, added prestige to the event. Participants were felicitated with Certificates of Appreciation for their commendable work by Bharat Singh Manhas, who encouraged the budding artisans to stay optimistic, focused, and take advantage of the opportunities presented in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The audience comprised students and escort teachers from schools under Cluster I, Tiger Div, and CBSE HUBS OF LEARNING. Additionally, 200 students from the host school visited the exhibition. The event showcased the artistic work of almost 40 students from classes IX to XII on the first day, while the students demonstrated their artistic skills by creating sketches on the spot. Brig Vivek Puri, SM, Chairman APS Damana, praised the school's creative approach in enhancing and exhibiting the students' skills. He expressed profound admiration for the exceptional talent displayed by the students in the Painting Exhibition.
