NAGPUR, Jan 31: The 57th Nirankari Sant Samagam witnessed a remarkable mass marriage ceremony, leaving everyone spellbound by its simplicity. In the holy presence of Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ji, 45 couples tied the knot at the event near Mihan in Nagpur on January 29. Satguru Mata Ji blessed the newly married couples, urging them to lead their household lives with devotion. She congratulated their families for adopting the simple and sacred Nirankari method of marriage and extended her best wishes. During the ceremony, each couple received the special symbol of Nirankari marriage with the traditional Jayamala, presented by representatives of the Mission. In the pledge ceremony (lavas), Satguru Mata Ji and Rajpita Ji showered flowers on the couples, offering their divine blessings. The relatives of the bride and groom present in the program also participated in showering flowers, creating a blissful atmosphere. A total of 45 couples from various states of India, including Maharashtra (Nagpur, Vadsa, Mumbai, Ahmednagar, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Chiplun, Dhule, Dombivali, Jalna, Kolhapur, Nashik, Palghar, Pune, Solapur), and other states like Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana, and Odisha, participated in the mass marriage. Following the ceremony, arrangements were made for food for all attendees at the venue. Notably, the simplicity of these marriages included couples with diverse educational backgrounds, including graduates and postgraduates. Some families, despite having the means to celebrate grand weddings, chose to follow the divine teachings of Satguru, setting an example of simplicity and unity in society.
