BARAMULLA, Jan 31: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa today conducted a comprehensive inspection to assess the ongoing development of the Water Supply Scheme (WSS) situated at Parihaspora Pattan. This significant infrastructure project is being executed under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) at an estimated cost of Rs. 57 crore. The primary objective of this scheme, upon its successful completion, is to address the pressing issue of water scarcity in 57 adjacent villages, thus catering to the needs of approximately 75,000 individuals residing in these water-stressed areas.
