Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 31: Atal Duloo IAS, Chief Secretary of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, praised the release of a compiled video featuring 7 waakhs of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani. The video, meticulously curated by Kanwal Peshin, a distinguished poet and cultural activist, was unveiled during an event where Chief Secretary Atal Duloo received the Kenzi Khoass, a bronze cup symbolizing Kashmiri Pandit culture, and the book "Roop Dedh," delineating the life and teachings of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani. The compiled video showcases vocal renditions of the waakhs, selected from authenticated rahesyaupdesh, and is accompanied by footage from the Mata Roopa Bhawani film. Sumita Bhat delivered the vocal renditions, with musical direction by Ravi Bhan. The project aims to preserve and promote the spiritual legacy of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani.
The initiative was facilitated by the Athrot Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Athrot Productions YouTube channel and The Modern Kashmiri Pandits Facebook page. The video will be available for viewing on the Athrot Productions YouTube channel starting from February 1, 2024, coinciding with Sahib Saptami Nirvana Tithi of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani.
Chief Secretary Atal Duloo lauded Athrot's commitment to cultural and linguistic preservation, acknowledging the profound impact of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani's teachings. Key figures from the Athrot Cultural Foundation expressed gratitude to Chief Secretary Atal Duloo for endorsing the release of the compiled video, emphasizing the spiritual resonance of Mata Shree Roopa Bhawani's legacy.
