| Notorious thief arrested by Narwal Police | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 31: One accused namely Mohd. Waqar S/O Noor Mohd R/O Choudhary Nar District Rajouri was arrested in case FIR no 337/2023 u/s 457/380/379 IPC of P/S Bahu fort on dated 23/01/2024. The said accused was in Police custody and was lodged in lock-up of Police Post Narwal. During intervening night of 24/25-01-2024 the accused person managed to escape from the police custody. In this regard a case FIR no.22/24 u/s 224 IPC stands registered against the accused person. Under the overall supervision of SSP Jammu, a dedicated team, after hectic efforts managed to arrest the accused person from Chandigarh. The arrest of this thief is a big achievement for district Police Jammu. |
