| Police attaches property of notorious drug peddlerin Handwara | | |

SRINAGAR, Feb 1: Police on Thursday attached property of a notorious drug peddler under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in Handwara area of Jammu Kashmir's Kupwara district. Police said that a mini shopping complex comprising four shops belonging to one notorious drug peddler identified as Farooq Ahmad Dar a resident of Lachipora Handwara was attached under section 68-F of NDPS Act 1985. The drug peddler was involved in several NDPS cases of Police Station Handwara. The property was identified as illegally acquired property during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by the police.
