Early Times Report KATHUA, Feb 2: Jammu & Kashmir Bank, in collaboration with Live for Others - Being Helpful Foundation, has undertaken a commendable initiative to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene in Kathua District under the banner of "Mission R-SAP (Remove Shyness Apply Pads)." The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project aims to distribute 5,00,000 sanitary napkins and conduct over 100 awareness seminars across all 20 districts of Jammu & Kashmir. Samba District, being the 12th district to complete the mission, witnessed a significant milestone with the distribution of over 30,600 sanitary napkins and the delivery of five impactful awareness lectures, reaching more than 2401 people. The seminars were conducted in various government and private schools, including Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Jakhbat; Govt. Higher Secondary School, Chhan Rotian; Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Hiranagar; DAV Collegiate School, Lacchipur, Kathua, and Govt. Higher Secondary School Lacchipur, Kathua. Stuti Abrol served as the resource person for these informative sessions. Vishavjeet Singh Pathania, Advisor of Live for Others - Being Helpful Foundation, expressed excitement about the progress of 'Mission R-SAP' and its positive impact on women's health. The team eagerly anticipates expanding the initiative to other districts in the region.
