JAMMU, Feb 2: In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Smriti Sharma, a talented archer from Delhi Public School Jammu, clinched the second position in the individual category, earning a prestigious silver medal at the Inter-DPS National Archery Competition 2023-24. The competition, organized by The Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi, took place at DPS Kollur, Telangana from January 19 to 21, 2024.
Competing in the U-17 age category, Smriti showcased exceptional prowess with her bow, earning not only the silver medal but also a merit cum participation certificate for her outstanding performance.
The achievement brought immense pride not only to Smriti but also to her school, her parents, and her coach, Lakhvinder Kaur. The esteemed Management of DPS Jammu, including the President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, Distinguished PVC-Kuwarani Dr. Ritu Singh, and Director S.S Sodhi, expressed their hearty congratulations to Smriti Sharma.
