| Dr Rakesh Magotra assumes as Director Health Services Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 2: Dr. Rakesh Magotra officially took over the responsibilities of Director Health Services Jammu on February 2, 2024. His appointment comes after serving as the Medical Superintendent of Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar in Jammu. In addition to his new role, Dr. Magotra has been assigned the post of Deputy Director Health Services (HQ) Jammu.
Dr. Magotra's journey in the Health Department started when he joined as an Assistant Surgeon. Over the years, he has held various positions, showcasing his dedication to public health. His roles have included serving as Block Medical Officer in Bishnah, Deputy Chief Medical Officer in Samba, and Chief Medical Officer in Kathua.
In his new capacity as Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Rakesh Magotra will oversee and guide health services in the Jammu Division. Drawing on his wealth of administrative experience, he is expected to contribute significantly to the enhancement of the healthcare system in the region.
