Govt MAM College clinches victory in Inter College grappling tournament

Jammu, Jan 2: In a riveting display of skill and determination, Govt. MAM College emerged triumphant, lifting the Grappling (Men) trophy at the Inter College Grappling (Men) tournament hosted by the Cluster University of Jammu. The event, held at the University of Jammu, witnessed spirited competition among various colleges.
Dr. Ranvijay Singh, the Dean of Students Welfare at Cluster University of Jammu, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director of Physical Education & Sports, Cluster University of Jammu, was honored as the Guest of Honour.
Under the meticulous supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi, the Director of Physical Education & Sports, Cluster University of Jammu, and Smt. Neenu Sawhney, the Physical Director of Govt. MAM College Jammu, the tournament showcased the athletic prowess of the participants.
Govt. MAM College secured victory with an impressive 13 points, claiming the Grappling trophy. GGM Science College and Govt. SPMR College of Commerce were commendable runners-up, each accumulating 05 points.
Distinguished personalities present at the event included Sh. Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director of GCOE Jammu, Sh. Ravi Kumar, Physical Director of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Smt. Kajal Premi, Physical Director of GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu, and Smt. Neelam, Assistant Physical Director of Govt. MAM College.
The officiating team, consisting of Sh. Jai Bharat, Sh. Harveer Singh, and Sh. Aditya Singh Chib, ensured the fair conduct of the matches, contributing to the success of the tournament.
This victory not only highlights the athletic prowess of Govt. MAM College but also underscores the spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship fostered by the Cluster University of Jammu.
