Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 3: In a commitment to fostering effective teaching and learning, The Shri Ram Universal School (TSUSJ) recently organized a comprehensive two-day Capacity Building Programme for its dedicated teaching staff. Recognizing the importance of continuous professional development, TSUSJ partnered with Shri Educare Limited (SEL), New Delhi, to bring in expert resource personnel. Ishita Sanyal, a seasoned educator with over 20 years of school teaching and leadership experience, along with Shaveta Bhagria, a mathematics professional with more than 16 years of expertise, led the program. The sessions delved into the integration of educational technology tools and the introduction of various teaching platforms enriched with educational resources. The programme not only focused on upgrading teachers' skills but also emphasized collaborative efforts. Experienced educators were paired with newer colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement, providing guidance and feedback on pedagogy, curriculum development, assessment strategies, classroom management, and student engagement. One of the highlights of the programme was the emphasis on inclusive teaching practices. Sanyal and Bhagria provided valuable insights into ensuring that educators can effectively support the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities or special educational needs. Investing in such a comprehensive capacity-building program is expected to empower teachers, enabling them to continually enhance their skills and expertise. The ultimate goal is to achieve improved student outcomes through a more informed and proficient teaching faculty at TSUSJ. |
