2nd phase of Training held for District level Master Trainers at Doda

DODA, Feb 3: In a significant development aimed at ensuring smooth conduct of the upcoming elections in Doda district, a specialized 2nd training program for District level Master Trainers (DLMTs) by SLMTs was conducted in District Election Office, here. The training session focused on equipping the DLMTs with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively oversee the electoral process and ensure transparency and efficiency in the conduct of elections.
The 2nd training of District Level Master Trainers aimed to enhance the capabilities of the DLMT’s in areas such as Nominations, Scrutiny, Withdrawal, MCC, MCMC, EVM/VVPAT, SVEEP activities, Polling procedures, security protocols, Result tabulation, etc. The sessions also covered important topics such as electoral laws, ethical conduct, postal ballet, TTBPs, and the use of technology in election management.
During the training, district election management plan, vulnerability mapping and polling parties and poll day arrangements were also discussed.
DLMTs participated in interactive workshops, simulation exercises, and practical demonstrations to familiarize themselves with the intricacies of election administration. They were provided with insights into best practices for conducting free and fair elections, maintaining electoral integrity, and handling potential challenges during the electoral process.
SLMTs Mohd Ashraf Wani, Shalinder Singh, Gohar Hafeez Fani, and DLMTs Akhtar Hussain, Nazir Ahmed, Mohd Irfan, Rizwan Ahmed, Tahir Ashraf wani were present on the occasion.
