Jammu, Feb 3: The Government Polytechnic College Jammu wrapped up a one-week training program on “Basic Computer Skills” aimed at enhancing and strengthening the skills of employees from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Katra. The training initiative, which commenced on January 29, 2024, was conducted in the Department of Computer Engineering under the guidance of Er. Arun Bangotra, the college’s Principal. Four batches, consisting of a total of 44 employees from SMVDSB Katra, participated in the training program, which covered fundamental computer skills. The valedictory ceremony, held today, saw the distribution of training certificates by Chief Guest Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal of the college, to the participants as a recognition of their successful completion of the course. Er. Sanjay Koul (HoD Computer Engg.), Er. Inderjeet Singh (Workshop Superintendent), and Ved Pal (Training Instructor) were also present at the occasion to celebrate the successful conclusion of the training program. The initiative reflects the commitment of Government Polytechnic Bikram Chowk Jammu to contribute to the skill development of individuals and organizations in the region. |
