JAMMU, Feb 7: Students of Dewan Devi Public School immersed themselves in the solemn observance of Shab-E-Miraj, a significant event in Islamic tradition, during a special gathering held within the school premises. The occasion was marked by cultural performances and heartfelt recitations of Naats by the students, resonating with the spirit of the occasion. Seloni Suri, the esteemed Principal of the school, accompanied by the administrator, Ashwani Suri, addressed the students, imparting valuable insights into the significance of Shab-E-Miraj and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. "Shab E Miraj" holds profound significance in Islamic history, symbolizing Prophet Muhammad's miraculous journey from the Great Mosque of Mecca to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and thereafter ascending to the heavens, all in a single night. The event serves as a poignant reminder of the Prophet's spiritual ascension and the divine messages imparted during this celestial journey.
The cultural performances and Naat recitations served as a poignant tribute to Prophet Muhammad, evoking reverence and admiration among the attendees. Through these expressive renditions, the students conveyed their deep respect and devotion towards the Prophet, while also fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie within the school community.
