| GDC Bishnah organizes awareness programme on Blood donation | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 9: An extension lecture has been organized by the Red Ribbon Club of GDC Bishnah on the theme “Awareness about blood donation”. Mr. Vishal Arora and Mr. Yashwant Yadav (Founder of Jammu Blood Donors ,NGO) were the speakers for the programme. They talk about the importance of blood donation society. Blood donors are crucial in ensuring adequate blood supply for medical emergencies and procedures. More than 30 students as well as all the staff members have attended the lecture.
The programme was started with a formal welcome address by Dr. Ratika Sharma. During the occasion Dr. Manohar Lal, Principal of the college also encourages the students about blood donation. The programme
was organized and coordinated by Dr. Ratika Sharma and Dr. Ashma Gupta , Nodal officers of Red Ribbon Club. During the program the prizes and certificates were also distributed among the students that have participated in various Red Ribbon Activities.
In the end the vote of thanks was extended by Dr. Sunil Kumar Saliada(HOD Hindi). |
