Talking about Jammu and Kashmir Bank alone having 1500 ATMs in the state while the number of ATMs of various banks is around 4000. Where guards are deployed in two shifts. Due to this decision, clouds of unemployment have started looming over about eight thousand people. Along with this, questions have also been raised on the security of ATMs. Consumers are beginning to fear fraud. Sahni said that unguarded ATMs can be easily targeted by cyber criminals or fraudsters. At the same time, in the name of helping people by tampering with ATM machines, the fear of withdrawing money from their accounts has also started troubling them. Sahni has appealed to keep the ATM services open 24*7 and to reconsider the decision of removing the guards.
