SKPA conducts special session on introduction of three new criminal laws | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 17: In a proactive measure to equip law enforcement personnel with the latest legal frameworks, the Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) in Udhampur organized a special session today, February 17, 2024. The session was dedicated to introducing three newly enacted criminal laws: Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita - 2023, Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita-2023, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam-2023. Under the guidance of Shri Garib Dass, IPS, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and Director of SKPA, the session aimed at familiarizing Probationary Deputy Superintendents of Police (Prob. Dy.SP) and SKPA staff with the intricacies of these recent legal statutes. Director Garib Dass emphasized the underlying principles and significant amendments embedded within these new laws.
