| Police recover 10 gms heroin,peddler held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 21: Continuing it's drive against drug trafficking and Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 10 grams of heroin from one accused person in the jurisdiction of PP Pounichak.
A police team of PP Pounichak led by SHO PS Domana and I/C PP Pounichak while on naka duty at Pata chungi Bohri Chowk rounded up a suspect who was coming from Pounichak side. On search, 10 grams of heroin was recovered from him.
In this regard a case FIR under relevant sections got registered in PS Domana and accused was arrested. The accused arrested was later identified as :- Zahid Mohd S/O Sher Ali R/O Gandu Chak Phallian mandal Tehsil Mandal District Jammu. Further investigation of the case is going on. Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
