JAMMU, Feb 29: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) continues to champion road safety with an expanded Road Safety Awareness Campaign in Jammu, leaving an indelible impact on over 2800 school students and staff members.Recognizing road safety as a paramount concern, HMSI consistently conducts such campaigns nationwide to cultivate responsible behavior on the roads. The recent campaign in Jammu, held at the Army Public School, witnessed enthusiastic participation, reflecting the community's commitment to fostering a safety-oriented society.
HMSI emphasizes the importance of instilling road safety awareness from an early age, advocating for the inclusion of road safety education in school and college curricula. Through engaging activities like Road Safety Games, Safe Road Theory Sessions, and Riding Posture Training, the company empowers young minds with the knowledge and skills essential for safe road navigation.
In Jammu and Kashmir alone, HMSI has educated nearly 3 lakh adults and children, focusing on promoting responsible road usage and cultivating safe riding habits. Aligned with its CSR commitment towards road safety, HMSI aims to contribute to the global vision of zero traffic collision fatalities involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles by 2050.
